Overview

​The California Public Safety Procurement Section manages Federal programs that aid state and local agencies in their counter drug and law enforcement efforts:

The 1033 Program allows state and local law enforcement agencies to acquire excess property from the Department of Defense. All property acquired through the 1033 Program must be used in support of law enforcement activities.

The 1122 Program is a federal program that allows state and local governmental agencies to purchase equipment, for Counter Drug, Homeland Security and Emergency Response, through federal purchasing channels.
