Overview
The Interoperable Emergency Communications Center Grant Program (IECGP) provides funding support to improve local, tribal, regional, statewide, and national interoperable emergency communications, including communications in collective response to natural disasters, acts of terrorism, and other man-made disasters. IECGP funding is provided to States and territories and to local and tribal governments to support achievements of the goals, objectives, and or initiatives of the Statewide Communications Interoperability Plans (SCIP) and to ensure achievements of the goals and milestones of the National Emergency Communications Plan (NECP).
